The congregation of Sons of Israel held its 84th Annual Dinner Dance last Sunday honoring Shari and Steven Hymowitz and Cheryl and Warren Prosky. Steven Hymowitz is a member of the congregation’s Executive Board, is currently the ongoing treasurer and has been a budget director. His wife, Shari, has been involved in the synagogue’s Sisterhood and has been co-chair of its College Committee. A member of the National Council of Jewish Women, Cheryl Prosky has been involved with the Hebrew School PTA and many synagogue committees. Husband Warren Prosky is a member of the synagogue’s Executive Board and serves as Acting Third Vice President and as Chairman of its Youth Group. He currently operates a transportation business in New York City.
