Keith Weinberg of Cedarhurst graduated from the Suffolk County Police Academy on Wednesday, July 11, along with 56 other recruits.  Keith graduated from HAFTR High School and Stony Brook University and also attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Weinberg was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from which he was honorably discharged this past May.  Before joining the Suffolk County Police Department, Keith spent five years as a member of the NYPD working in Brooklyn.
