On a gray Saturday afternoon Lawrence quarterback Joey Capobianco’s star shone brightest, tossing three touchdown passes to three different receivers and rushing for a touchdown of his own in a 55-7 rout of the Manhasset Indians. Turnovers helped the Hewlett Bulldogs built up a 19-0 lead in the first half, but turnovers gave that lead right back as they lost 20-19 on the road against the Glen Cove Big Red. Glen Cove also did a great job shutting down quarterback Zach Richman in the second half  after he had 171 total yards and three rushing touchdowns early on.
